Because There are Two Sides to Every Story...

Daddy Destinations

Mission Statement

  • This site has no agenda, and its author has no chip on his shoulder. He promises not to whine about "fatherhood equality," and he'll do his best not to sound superior. He is, afterall, just a dad. Instead, he promises to tell good stories about his three kids. That's about it.

Obviously I know the parts of the story about your dad that you've shared with me over the years, but seeing that picture struck me: Never have I thought you looked so much like him as I did when I just now saw that picture. Your father would have been proud, and indeed his life does extend now beyond yours. As a wise man once said, "Unless a grain of wheat fall into the ground and die, it remains alone. But if it dies, it brings forth much fruit."

Oh this made me start crying as soon as I started reading. Especially the last part. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
