Here we sit at 7:53 on a school night, watching Ratatouille behind the auditorium at our kids' school. Of course, this makes no sense at all. Bedtime, afterall, is in seven minutes, but Linguini and the Little Chef have only just realized that they can cook together. There's still more than hour of fun to go. Somewhere in someone's head, I suppose, this all sounded like a good idea, but don't you think someone might've suggested that they do this on a Friday night? Or maybe that they wait a few weeks until Daylight Savings ends so the movie could've started at 5:30 instead of seven? As it is, it doesn't look like the kids will see their pillows before nine, which should make for a fun morning. I'm secretly hoping that every kid in school is fussy tomorrow, just so they think better next time. Is that bad?
