Okay, I realize that living here in SoCal should prohibit any complaints about the cold, but DAMN, it's been cold out here! I used to always say, "You know it's cold when you can see your breath." Well, time to up the ante -- you know it's cold when you see icicles in Long Beach. Check out these pictures I snapped on Sunday morning (click photos to enlarge):

A poor lily plant encased in ice.

Icicles hanging from a newspaper box at our local drugstore.
Wherever you are, even if you're in sunny Southern California, I hope you're keeping warm...

Up until now it's been quite the warm winter out here in NYC. Over the next couple of days we'll be feeling overnight temps in the teens, but it's the first time this season, so I can't complain. At least it never rains where you are!

I know what you mean. I am in Glendale but grew up in Michigan, you think I would be immune to cold. BS! It has been butt chillin cold this last week.
